Second vase - one handle broken off and re-attached with two brass pins with some old re-touching of the green enamel around the handle. Both vases with localised wear, no recent or professional restoration, good examples of the response to the demand for the most opulent Worcester polychrome from late Victorian collectors

Probably Meiji on carved hardwood stand. Height of vase is approximately 90cm. (B.P. 21% + VAT) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Body has been extensively damaged and repaired.Lid grubby but appears ok with no obvious damage. Substantial, not very discrete repairs to the vase. Several pieces have been stuck back in, not expertly done. Loss and damage to glaze and decoration in repaired area. Some cracks, grubby.
