A porcelain vase, probably Batenin Porcelain Manufactory, mid 19th century campana shaped, the central reserve with a painted view of figures in a harbour, the reverse with gothic inspired painted ornament framing a knight in armour, the lower section with flared foot and central base moulded with acanthus and laurel leaves supported on four pad feet and flanked by finely cast handles formed as dolphins, apparently unmarked height: 25cm., 9.75in

A FINE "CRYSTAL GLASS" VASE attributed to Thomas Webb, etched with a design of fish and aquatic plants swimming beneath a cloudy sky, probably circa 1875, 12" high. The nature and quality of the "marine" decoration on the present vase is immediately reddent of the work of William Fritsche (1853-1924)
