A Meissen Porcelain Flower Encrusted Vase and Cover, late 19th/early 20th century, with floral knop and twin scroll handles, painted with sprays of flowers within naturalistically modelled and painted foliate borders on a circular socle surmounted by a cherub with a basket of flowers, crossed swords mark struck out, 74cm high. The cover is broken and stapled through the waist of the spire and with various losses to the applied work. The base has three firing cracks to the rim, loss to the applied work and a chip to the foot of the lower putti.

A Lithyalin Green Glass Vase, mid 18th century, of panelled baluster form with trumpet neck and with marbled tones of white and amber on a green ground, 35cm high The name Lithyalin is derived from the Greek word ''lithos'', meaning stone and is a type of marbled glass developed by Friedrich Egermann (1777-1864) of Hajda in Bohemia, using opaque coloured glass to produce a marbled surface in imitation of semi-precious stones. A large spalted beech turned wooden globular vase, height 23.5cm, a modern carved model of a bulldog and a modern carved wooden duck ornament (3).

A large vintage Welsh red, black and cream tapestry blanket, 215 x 152cm, nine handcrafted patchwork quilts comprised of small squares, linen tablecloths, napkins, and lace tray cloths.Additional InformationThe red chequered blanket appears in good condition, very clean with no apparent stains or holes and there is a good weight to the piece. The vase of coloured flowers with blue boarders 118 x 106cm, a floral example with interlocking circles on peach and yellow ground 156 x 105cm, a peach boarder with pale blue floral decorated and peach coloured central squares 160 x 126cm, purple coloured floral with label 'Pamela Price 1997' stitched to the reverse 230 x 194cm, small purple example with central fang shaped circular medallion 112 x 102cm, another Pamela Price example dated 2002 which has the lozenge shaped turquoise medallions on a central peach coloured ground 147 x 106cm. Another Pamela Price 2005 titled 'Circle Play' which has oriental circular motifs on striped green, cream and pink ground 103 x 98cm, a small rectangular geometric interlocking square example with rust red and pale blue ground 103 x 90cm. On the whole condition of the patchwork quilts is good, some have slight staining, but the thread and stitching is in place throughout.

A late 19th century bronze model of the Warwick vase, raised on socle base, height 14.5cm, width 19.5cm.Additional InformationHeavy wear to the interior, general exterior wear, there is no base to the vase, slightly crude casting.

WILLIAM MOORCROFT FOR JAMES MACINTYRE & CO; a waisted vase decorated in the 'Lilac' pattern, green signature and printed marks to base, height 21cm.Additional InformationLight crazing to glaze, very minor rubbing to the gilding in parts. The vase does not ring true but there are no signs of cracks or damage.

A collection of assorted studio pottery to include a Chessell bowl, diameter 8.5cm, a similar example, diameter 22cm, a vase in the manner of Clive Brooker, height 38cm, contemporary sculpture, etc (8).Additional InformationThe larger blue bowl with numerous chips to the edge. The Chessell bowl with minimal chipping, wear is evident throughout.

Lot 329

An 18th century tin glazed Chinoiserie decorated blue and white vase with later wooden cover, height including cover 26cm (af).Additional InformationThis would have been a bottle neck vase, the neck has been broken and therefore it has been ground with a rod going through the rim to steady it. Losses to the glaze, heavy pitting marks throughout. This is probably a Dutch piece for the Chinese market. The finial of the wooden cover has been broken and repaired and there are losses to the pierced decoration.

COALPORT; a pair of gilt and floral enamel decorated ewers with shaped rims and loop handles, both with green printed marks to bases, height 17.8cm (restored) (2).Additional InformationOne with clear restoration to the other part of the foot, this vase has had further work to the lower section of the neck and handle area. Possibly further restoration to both pieces, some rubbing to enamelling, light surface scratches, some rubbing to gilt, etc.
