Meiping), in typischer oben gebauchter Form mit schlankem Fuß. Steinzeug mit eingepresstem und mit weißem & schwarzem Schlicker eingelegtem Dekor (Sanggam-Dekor) und dünner graugrüner Seladonglasur. Dargestellt sind Enten mit Lotos und Weiden, am Fuß ein umlaufendes Zierband aus Lotos, oben ein Eierstab und Paneele mit Kranichen.Ein Hi’tsuki (eine Anhaftung von Material eines zweiten Gefäßes, durch ein Missgeschick beim Brennvorgang entstanden).Maebyeong waren ursprüngliche Weinflaschen, die Exemplare mit Seladonglasuren und insbesondere mit Sanggamdekor waren ausschließlich der koreanischen Aristokratie vorbehalten.Sowohl für chinesische Blumenarrangements, als auch in der japanischen Ikebanakunst waren sie in der Folge vor allem als Vasen für einzelne Pflaumenzweige sehr beliebt (daher die Bezeichnung „Meiping“ bzw. „Maebyeong“, die von chinesischen Gelehrten der Quing-Dynastie stammt und „Vase für Pflaumenblüten“ bedeutet), und sind in größeren Mengen nach Japan verbracht worden.Dieses Exemplar dürfe durch sein Hi’tsuki, das für den Auftraggeber einen Schönheitsfehler dargestellt hat, als Grabbeigabe gedient haben, ein späterer japanischer Besitzer wird die Anhaftungen als Teil des Keshiki, der „Landschaft“ einer Keramik gemäß der Zen-Philosophie geschätzt haben und hat sie daher belassen.Fachgerecht restauriertEuropäische Sammlung vor 1970Wir garantieren für das Alter!
