A collection of various mainly 20th Century Chinese and other Oriental artefacts including a large cinnabar lacquered circular box and cover, 33 cm diameter, a small lozenge shaped cinnabar lacquered box and cover, 16.5 cm long, a bronze figure of a "Blacksmith" on ebonised stand, 20 cm overall and a box containing various china and soapstone figures, modern jade figures of cats, a horse and Buddhist lion, pair of ginger jars and various wooden stands, etc CONDITION REPORTS Circular cinnabar lacquered box with several chips and cracks and wear conducive with some age and use. Lozenge box appears in better condition. Larger figure group as two smiling characters one with lotus flower appears in good condition. Smaller pair of figures similar with damage to all hands and broken necks repaired. Grey soapstone figure of sage with peach damaged in several areas. Red soapstone figures of sages with peaches and staffs with various chips and scratches. Modern Chinese ginger jars in good order. Soapstone incense stick holder as a flower head with surface scratching. Three modern jade or jadeite figures of cat, lion, horse and stone figure of tortoise all good condition. Hardstone flower group in cloisonne vase - good condition. Small cloisonne bowl in good condition. Dragon cloisonne dish in poor condition verso. Stands all in varying condition. Soapstone figure of man with tiger with damage to right arm/sleeve
A 19th Century Wedgwood Jasperware Portland vase modelled by Henry Webber and William Hackwood depicting the myth of Peleus and Thetis, the base decorated with the upper part of the figure of Paris and foliage stamped "Wedgwood" 26 cm high CONDITION REPORTS There are some firing cracks to the relief work, especially to the base. In need of a good clean inside and out. Some fly dirt marks marks, black marks, etc. There do not appear to be any chips to the base but there are several firing cracks to the figure in particular. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more detail. Under UV light there does not appear to be any sign of damage or repair. There is, however, one small chip to the surface side of the foot where the blue has been chipped down to the white beneath. See images for further details.
A Chinese Kangxi powder blue and gilt decorated onion-shaped vase with slender neck decorated with butterflies and flowers with blue concentric rings mark to base 43 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has a large firing fault to the top of the neck as well as other firing faults throughout and wear to the gilded decoration throughout. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some small chips to the top and base on the glaze. Some light surface scratching. Generally in need of a clean. Losses to the enamel decoration throughout. Some firing faults, surface scratches, etc.

An 18th Century Chinese baluster shaped vase decorated with Kylin/Qilin and figures in a garden setting , 33 cm, with associated rosewood pierced cover and turned wooden base CONDITION REPORTS Has hairline cracks running throughout the neck of the jar. Has had a large repair to the base where it has been off and repaired and repainted badly. There is heavy wear to the enamel decoration throughout, some has been over-painted, as well as black scratch marks etc. Various firing faults, some knocks/chips to the body, heavy wear and tear. The lid has several splits to the pierced carved decoration as well as all over dirt
A collection of various mainly 19th Century and later glassware including eight various decanters, pineapple cut glass fruit bowl and matching rinser, shallow cut glass fruit bowl, handkerchief rimmed conical vase, cut glass plates, hock glasses, rummers, wines, sherries, sundae glasses etc (three boxes) CONDITION REPORTS Very much a mixed lot. The decanters are 19th and early 20th Century, stoppers in all cases not matching. Glasses all part sets or low numbers. Glasses again mainly 19th and early 20th Century various. The pineapple cut glass bowl early 19th Century as is the pineapple cut glass rinser. See images for examples
A collection of Staffordshire Pottery wares including two black and white spaniels, a spill vase decorated with horse and cow drinking, a pair of spill vases as Scottish musicians, a flat back figure "Queen", a figure of recumbant black and white cow, a pair of figures of recumbant greyhounds and a relief work decorated four seasons jug CONDITION REPORTS Whippets - have all over crazing. The tip of the tail is off one of them. There are some losses to the glaze throughout. Firing faults. Hairline fracture to the underside of one. Some small chips to the bases. In need of a good clean. Larger spaniel has significant losses to the paintwork throughout as well as all over crazing. Smaller spaniel has some crazing. Looks as though possible later example. Other figures all have heavy crazing, hairline cracks, chipping variously including the larger spill vase which has been repaired, losses to the enamel, etc. All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include firing faults, etc. See images for more details.
ELIZABETH FRAWELL "Bird amongst blossoming foliage", a needlework study, signed and dated 1800, 25 cm x 18 cm, together with a long stitch needlework study of "Flowers in vase", 19 cm x 19 cm and a lace work study of a church, 7 cm x 9 cm CONDITION REPORTS Birds amongst blossom - has large areas of staining throughout. Is discoloured mainly to the background and the text. A couple of loose threads evident. Flower study on paper - paper is ripped in a couple of places and discoloured and with foxing, etc. Thread is faded.All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use, including some losses to the frames, etc. See images for more details.
