A German silver swing-handled sugar vase, maker's mark AB conjoined, in oval punch, Nuremberg, circa 1790, pierced sides and pedestal foot, with blue glass liner, 14 cm. high, 20 cm. high to top of handle, wt. 144 gm.piercing intact, no repairs, blue glass liner undamaged, clearly marked on foot rim with town mark, maker and zigzag assay scrape.
A silver-gilt specimen vase, marks indistinct, Birmingham, probably 1935, pierced fretwork sides over a green glass liner, top with pierced gallery rim of small continuous lozenge motifs, filled base, 18.3 cm. high.Some small losses and repairs to piercing, couple of very small dents to top below gallery rim, chips to top of rim of glass liner.

Gwendoline (Gwen) Le Gallienne (UK 1900-1936) an Art Nouveau influence bronze fairy vase: of ovoid triangular design, the bowl formed from the outstretched wings of three female fairies, signed to the bronze Gwen Le Gallienne and bears A. Valsuani Cire Perdue founders seal, 14cm. wide, 9cm. high.* Biography Gwendoline Le Gallienne was the daughter of the artist Roland Hinton Perry and his wife Irma. She became a sculptor and painter and her portraits include James Joyce , Ernest Hemingway and Amelia Earhart. She was stepsister to Eva Le Gallienne, actress and film director.
