Pair of Japanese enamel on porcelain vases, the brown bodies decorated with birds on flowering branches, between bands of decoration, 27cm. CONDITION REPORT: Vase 1: dints/small dents to the surface, one long scratch. Rubbing to colour at the rim. One dent on bottom decorative band, c2mm square. body appears in good condition. Wear to colour on base. Very slightly shorter, very slight narrower mouth.Vase 2: Similar condition to 1. One slightly deeper scratch c8mm x 2mm. Scratched area on widest part of shoulder c2cm square and another, smaller, c1cm square.
Early 20th century Chinese blue and white vase of bulbous form decorated with dragons confronting the flaming pearl, Chien lung Zhuanshu mark to the base, 19cm CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Interior firing crack at foot rim, joint only, not visible from exterior. A few paint splatters.
Silver wire cloisonné vase of rounded square section, the dark blue ground decorated with multiple flowers, and a cloisonné jar and cover with twin-handles and domed cover, finely decorated with quails amongst flowers, 23cm and 19cm. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Vase:- One damage to right hand side around 5mm x 7mm, a few small pin prick damages around it and slight bash to back around 3mm x 3mm with two cracks. Bruise to top right hand shoulder, some sunlight scraping.Vase:- Joint at top of handles. Both sides damaged with losses around it. Surface dirty. Slight scrapes. Major dent flaked off at bottom of bird panel around 2cm x 5cm.The cover: Knop slightly wobbly and loose, Damage repaired toward rim and some losses around most of the rim, Bashes to top of knop.
Pair of early 20th century Chinese vases on triple figure supports, the bodies painted with fruit branches, radishes and carrots, gilt highlights, signed and seal mark, marks to base, 29.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: VASE 1:- On two of the boys (support feet) there are nibbles to the front of their shoes. Body appears in good condition. Some small gilded dots on neck band very rubbed or missing.VASE 2:- Large star crack to the body with one crack running from mid body to top of neck. Some small gilded dots on neck band very rubbed or missing. Sticky sellotape residue on the inside of neck.
Japanese bronze vase of pear shape decorated in relief with applied bird sitting on fruiting branch, finely patinated, three character mark to base, 30cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Bronze is rather dull. Gilding to the rim rather dull. Main damage is to the leg of the bird whish has broken at the top of the claw, the other leg is missing. patination is good with coloured areas to fruiting branch. Some slight surface scrapes and scuffs. Screw holding the bird to the vase is loose.

19th century Japanese shibayama ivory tusk vase, the body decorated with semi precious stones and gilded lacquer depicting insects, cranes, flowering branches and bamboo raised on a wooden base, 16cm CONDITION REPORT: Ivory is glued into the base- Old glue. Slight wear to some of the gilded areas, some fine gilt painting has disappeared. No losses to the hardstone. Ivory dimensions are 63mm wide at top, 70mm at base, height 120mm. Horizontal crack to one of the feet, Ivory to vase slightly dirty otherwise good.
Bergman cold painted bronze of an Arab figure writing at a trellised doorway, a fringed cloth to the arch topped doorway with faux wood decoration to the seat and frame, stone effect steps and a part gilded table with lift up lid, possible an ink well, Bergman vase mark to the table and numbered 3003 and to the back of the door frame, 23cm x 17cm. CONDITION REPORT: Good original condition. Vase mark to back. Possible paintwork missing to top rail and slight bash to top right. Curtain and trellis appear in good condition. Wear to figures back and to hat. White paint slightly dirty. Minor losses to figures elbow robe at hip. Figure slightly dirty. Table has marks inside. Gilding slightly worn to table and paintwork dull and scratched.
