A Chinese Famille Rose Bottle Vase decorated with Butterflies and Flowers, Guangxu mark and period of typical form with a broad globular body on a short straight foot, the shoulder with two ridged bands, the convex neck flaring out towards the top rim, finely decorated in Famille Rose enamels with scattered butterflies and flowers including peony, chrysanthemum, peony and lotus, the white glaze with a faint orange peel effect, the top rim gilt, the base glazed and with a six character Guangxu mark in iron red, the paste of the foot, weight of the piece and style and quality of the decoration all indicating a circa date in the period. A Chinese Famille Rose Plaque in the form of a Gourd Vase with Shou Medallions, set in a lacquer ground hardwood frame, 19th century the plaque in the form of a double gourd vase with tassels at the centre and with an elaborate base and butterfly form cover, the yellow ground decorated with stylized scrolling lotus enclosing two Shou medallions, the top one reading Fu [ Lucky ] and the bottom one reading Shou [ Longevity ], the tassels decorated in iron red with gilt highlights of bats and flames, the base and cover in brown enamel with raised gilt highlights, the hardwood frame enclosing a field of dark brown lacquer in which the plaque is set, a metal suspension loop in the form of two dragons to the top. The messages of the two medallions are reinforced by the bats (symbolizing good luck) and the gourd form (symbolising fertility and good fortune)." 38.5cm x 50.5cm The plaque in excellent condition with no restoration. A Chinese celadon glaze vase, Yongzheng mark, 19th century of archaistic form with a compressed globular body, a deep cylinrical foot slightly flaring at the base, the neck slightly convex and flaring out gently to the garlic neck top, each main section of the vase divided by a ridged band, the whole covered in an even celadon glaze, neatly stopping at the foot, the base with a well drawn six character seal mark of the Yongzheng period (1723-1795)." A Chinese famille rose turquoise ground Pilgrim Vase, Jiaqing mark, nineteenth century of typical eighteenth century style with a fully rounded body narrowing to the top with a short cylindrical slightly flaring neck and a short spreading foot to the base, the shoulders with applied handles in the form of stylized dragons, decorated in famille rose enamels in imitation of cloisonne enamel wares with bats, butterflies, scrolling lotus and symbols, all the details outlined in gold, the top rim with a band of repeating fleur de lys style motifs and the base with alternating pink and blue enamel plantain leaves, the dragon handles decorated in iron red and gilt, the top interior enamelled in turquoise and the base similarly decorated with a well drawn six character iron red Jiaqing period (1796-1820) seal mark within a white square.
