A Staffordshire vase, of campana shape with gilt ram's head handles issuing from classical masks, painted with octagonal panels ofa basket of flowers and single roses reserved on a cobalt ground and gilt with stylised foliage on flared foot and square base, 20cm h, c1825 . Some slight discoloration of the glaze where it has crazed on the interior and around the foot joint also some very minor rubbing of the gilding. Several noticeable spots of flaking to the enamels on the central panel painting of flowers in a basket which would benefit from being touched-in.
