H291, the former with date code for 1940, the latter for 1937, height excluding lid 8.8cm (2).Additional InformationLid finial broken off and reglued, heavy rubbing and scratches; one vase with very small nibbles to rim interior where this lid has presumably sat; some light marks to gilt, some rubbing to raised areas and very light general wear.

NORITAKE; a 'Graywood' pattern six setting part tea set comprising teapot, cream jug, lidded sugar bowl, six side plates, saucers (one af) and tea cups, printed marks and no641 to bases, also a Royal Bonn lidded vase and a German stoneware pilgrim flask (both af) .Additional InformationOne saucer chipped, very slight abrasion/fritting to the teapot spout rim. One of the side plates with staining, one of the tea cups with staining. Otherwise, no visible damage, light general wear including usual scuffing to the foot rims, some light rubbing to detail, some fritting to rims. The Bonn vase lid cracked through, further damage and cracks to the base stem. The flask with chip to the mask detail of the upper section, further surface scuffs, glaze losses and abrasions to both items.

Denting to each, minor nibbles to the glass. The Grecian-style vase with a large piece missing from the top rim. Tea set with heavy wear to the gilding.

A Japanese Meiji period polished brass baluster vase featuring floral sprays and bird in relief, with twin character mark within oval seal to base, height 29.7cm.Additional InformationOne of the leaves is actually applied with a screw and this is somewhat loose. There are scratches, nicks and some minor knocks, including to the rim, which does have a dent and some further surface pitting, pock marks and discolouration.

Ridgway plate crazed throughout so a short and hollow ring. The pot lid with some small chips and nibbles to the base as is usual, some further surface wear and crazing throughout. Further general wear, dirt and dust to the glass.

Chipping and losses to the large basket. The two bisque pieces with numerous losses and wear, also one of the handles are missing on the tyg style example. The smaller piece is marked with a diamond registration lozenge to base.

The smaller example with a large piece which has been broken out into a number of pieces and crudely glued back together, also a chip to the rim and chipping to the glaze, each raised on wooden plinth bases. The smaller vase also has a chip to the foot rim.

Chinese bowl cracked. Rubbing to gilt detail where applicable, including Royal Albert part set.

A collection of 18th century and later ceramics including a Sunderland lustre mug titled 'Heave oh Cheery Men, Heave oh Heave', a 18th century char dish, possibly Liverpool, diameter 17.5cm, a bulbous vase indistinctly signed to the foot rim, Harriet Horall etc (5).Additional InformationThe bulbous vase has had the neck broken off and crudely glued, extensive crazing throughout. The small lustre jug with a star crack to base, the char dish is heavily crazed, chips to the foot rim and tight hairline cracks to the body. The Iron stone bowl is stained with chips to the underside, the mug probably should have had a frog which is missing to the interior, staining, faults and crazing throughout.

An early 19th century Staffordshire sponge decorated spill vase modelled on 'The Marriage Act', c1820, height 20cm.Additional InformationUnfortunately there has been significant restoration to this piece, this include the three main figures and the table, both tree uprights, both turrets. One of the branches to the right hand tree has also been detached and reapplied, general surface wear throughout.

ROYAL COPENHAGEN; two vases, the larger a commemorative example with the image of the Danish House of Parliament  and inscribed 'Rundskuedag 1941', height 18cm, a further vase decorated with birds (af), and three small dishes, one further inscribed to reverse 'Borsen', all with marks to bases, also a Nao duck, two Samson porcelain figures (both af) with pseudo Chelsea gold anchor marks, and a Noritake floral and gilt and enamel decorated part coffee set.Additional InformationThe smaller Copenhagen vase has a chip to the rim, the remaining vase and dishes appear ok. The female Samson figure has lost the right forearm and a further large chip to the trunk by which she is sat. The gentleman figure with chips to the moulded foliage. The coffee service with rubbing to detail.

The Imari dish with tiny chips to the glaze.
