The pink lustre jug has hairline cracks and rim chips, the copper lustre jug has a minor rim nick. The sprig moulded mug has no damage or restoration, the vase only a feint star crack to the base.

Pair of Japanese cloisonne baluster vases, late Meiji period, of green ground decorated with panels of birds and flowers, height 52cm. Condition report: Vase 1 has a noticeable area of damage on the fullest part of the body; vase 2 is loose on footrim. Both vases have minor losses, surface corrosion of the wire etc; no signs of restoration. Overall the vases are in reasonably good condition.

The hooves are drilled on the bottom for screws and the holes may not be original. No repairs or fractures, the horse stands without rocking; gross weight of horse 940g.
