Early Royal commemorative ware to include a saltglaze George III jug, a Queen Caroline pink lustre jug, a Queen Caroline sprig moulded mug, and a Queen Victoria and Albert copper lustre jug, also a sprig moulded spill vase decorated with figures, late 18th to mid 19th century, (5) the tallest item measures 14.5cm high Condition report: The saltglaze jug has a crack to the handle. The pink lustre jug has hairline cracks and rim chips, the copper lustre jug has a minor rim nick. The sprig moulded mug has no damage or restoration, the vase only a feint star crack to the base.
Two Chinese blue and white prunus blossom ginger jars, 12cm and 13cm; a sleeve vase, 26cm; a rouleau vase, 24.5cm. (4).Condition report: one jar has a firing crack / hairline on the neck rim; rouleau vase has an obvious neck chip; sleeve vase has a minor footrim chip. No professional restoration to any of the vases.
Pair of Japanese cloisonne baluster vases, late Meiji period, of green ground decorated with panels of birds and flowers, height 52cm. Condition report: Vase 1 has a noticeable area of damage on the fullest part of the body; vase 2 is loose on footrim. Both vases have minor losses, surface corrosion of the wire etc; no signs of restoration. Overall the vases are in reasonably good condition.
Franz Bergman cold painted bronze study of an unbridled standing horse, vase mark and other indistinct marks on belly, length 18cm, height 16cm on an oak block base.Condition report: Patination rubbed in parts showing a greyish under colour to one of the horse's flanks, but note that the metal is bronze, not spelter. The hooves are drilled on the bottom for screws and the holes may not be original. No repairs or fractures, the horse stands without rocking; gross weight of horse 940g.
