Lot 1424

A Chinese Canton famille rose plate, (rim chips); together with another Chinese blue and white vase and cover; a Chinese tea brick; a Japanese Imari octagonal plate; and an oriental blue and white bowl. Condition Report: BLUE & WHITE BOWL: In good order. BLUE AND WHITE VASE: Vase in good order, the cover has chips to rim and finial. The remaining three items all have chipping to edges.

Lot 1539

A pair of late 19th century Bohemian blue overlaid and parcel gilt glass vases, 37.5cm high. Condition Report: No visible signs of chips or cracks to either vase, however the gilt decoration is rubbed in several places.

Lot 1559

A small quantity of English and continental 19th century and later porcelain, to include: a Victorian Davenport Imari cup and associated Royal Crown Derby saucer; a Coalport cup and saucer; a Plaue vase and cover; and another Dresden porcelain twin handled vase and cover. Condition Report: The 'Aynsley' cup and saucer has scuff marks to red ground. The 'Dresden' vase and cover has an old repair to the foot, having nut, bolt and washer through the base. The 'Vienna' cup and saucer has paint loss to the top rim (near handle) and wear to the gilt (handle). Both 'Coalport' and 'Royal Crown Derby' cup and saucers appear undamaged. The 'Plaue' vase and cover has several areas of damage. The cherubs have lost an arm each and several of the flowers and foliage have been broken.

Lot 1561

A Royal Crown Derby twin handled vase and cover, circa 1926, painted with a panel of exotic birds by Darlington, 29.5cm wide, (finial restuck). Condition Report: Whilst there are no visible signs of chips or cracks there is some surface scratching to the blue ground on the reverse side. Also the finial has been repaired (signs of glue). The gilt decoration is in good order. Measures: 29 cm high.

Lot 1564

A pair of Royal Worcester reticulated ewers, by George Owen, circa 1910, shape number 1144, 17cm high. Condition Report: One vase has had the foot repaired (signs of glue). The floral swag decoration is signed by E. Phillips. No signature to base.

COINS, 錢幣, VIETNAM, 越南, Minh Mang 明命 (1820-41): Gold 1½-Tien, ND, Obv “Minh Man” 明命, Rev the Three Blessings, apparently a mule of Minh Mang obverse and Thieu Tri reverse, 6.39g (cf Schr 295 for reverse type). Some surface marks, about extremely fine, rare. The Three Blessings are Great Prosperity, Long Life and Many Sons, symbolised by a perfume flask, a perfume burner and a flower vase.
