Condition Report: All with some natural variation due to organic nature of the wood including some cracks and fissures, surface wear Overall the condition of the larger Flynn item is consistent with its lack of significant age and probable display use only, there is an old fissure near one of the legs due to the organic nature of the wood used. AN ISLAMIC STYLE CLEAR GLASS AND ENAMELLED BOTTLE VASE POSSIBLY BROCARD, PARIS, CIRCA 1885, UNSIGNED 37.5cm highSee Lot 119, Sotheby's, 9th September 2020 for a pair similar at £5,000-8,000, sold for £8,190.Brocard, Philippe-Joseph (French, 1831-1896), specialised in copies of early Islamic and Near Eastern glass and was one of the leading French exponents of the genre, interested, like many artists of the day in 'Orientalism'.
