A collection of Chinese carved hardwood stands, Qing, 18th/19th century, to include and intricately carved and pierced example with lingzhi funghus, chrysanthemums and rockwork, 11cm wide, a further stand carved and pierced with lingzhi funghus, 10.5cm wide, an open tri stand with ruyi head feet, 16cm diameter, a cinnabar lacquer stepped vase stand, carved with bands of lotus flowers, leiwen (Greek key), and gadroons, 21.5cm wide, 13cm high, three square topped stands and two others, and two Japanese metal stands, one bronze and of octagonal form with simulated bamboo legs, 10.5cm diameterQty: 12Condition report: Cinnabar stand with some small losses to the gallery, one section of the gallery has been broken and glued. Tallest square top stand has a 3cm split to the top. The smallest square stand has small shrinkage cracks to two surface corners. A small section missing from the rim of the lingzhi and flowers stand, but has been missing quite some timw as the patination is uniform with the remainder. Generally no major faults, some good stands.

Japanese Meiji period wares, comprising a pair of cloisonne vases, decorated with Irises and leaves in fine silver wirework and musen, the interiors a dark aubergine, with white metal rims, 8.2cm, a lacquer and shell inlaid butterfly box with interior tray, 12.5cm diameter, an antimony box, decorated with fish and dragons amongst spuming waves, manufacturers mark to the underside, 18.5cm wide and a small cloisonne pot, 6cm highQty: 5Condition report: One vase with thumbnail size chip to shoulder, the white lines on the interior appear to be dried polish residue. Both vases have a lot of kiln dirt in the enamel, specifically around the shoulder and base. The butterfly box is missing some shell inlay, a repair to the rear of the lid and a 2.5cm section of rim missing to the rear of the box and a small chip tp the rim of the inner tray. The small cloisonne pot is missing a lid, has a couple of chips to the neck, a chip to one panel and a chip above the foot rim.

A pair of Chinese Famille rose vases, the neck painted with a band of ruyi heads above a shoulder of bladed leaves, the body with blossoming peony, chrysanthemum, birds and insects, above a blue lappet and key banded base, with gilt rim, shoulder and foot, the underside with pseudo six character Qianlong seal mark, 23cmCondition report: Gilding partially erased on both vases. Some enamel flowerheads erased. Some surface scratches to the glaze. One vase with vertical 3.5cm glaze crack, located just beneath the bird in flight and terminating on the flowerhead below. not visible on the interior. Otherwise, there are no further obvious signs of any chips, cracks or restorations.
