A Chinese porcelain Famille Jaune vase and cover, 20th century, of tall baluster vase and externally decorated with two four-clawed dragons amidst chrysanthemum sprays against a yellow ground, the shoulders and base decorated with floral geometric borders, the cover surmounted with a dog of fo, 37cm high (at fault)Condition report- The rim of the vase with two rim descending hairline cracks, a large chip, further smaller chip and two additional very small chips. The exterior of the vase shows scratching and wear more so to the black decoration. The yellow ground bares an all over speckled appearance, presumably from glazing. The decoration runs outside of the stencil lines and the borders appear thick and rather crude. The cover with large section missing to the internal rim. Firing cracks can be seen to the interior of the vase. No obvious signs of restoration.

A pair of Chinese porcelain famille rose vases, Canton, 19th century, each of large baluster form and extensively decorated with two panels of figures against a ground of floral motifs, mounted with chilong dragons and dog of fo lugs, with petal cut rims, unglazed foot rim, unmarked, 61.5cm high (at fault)Condition report; Vase 1- Large segment to rim broken away, pieces not present. One dog of fo with tongue present, possibly a later addition as the other three do not have tongues. Overall decoration to the reserves appears vibrant and well executed however the flora and fauna ground appears more crude with evidence of glaze pooling. Chilongs bear fritting and pitting. The dog of fo lugs appear to be moulded crudely. Multiple small glaze chips and wear to petal shaped rim. Pitting can be seen to the interior of vase and small firing crack to the underside.Vase 2 - Large rim descending stained hairline crack visible internally and externally. Gilt wear to the rim. Glazed pooling and signs of over firing can be seen. The decorated reserves appear well executed however similarly the ground, dogs of fo, and chilong, all appear crude. No obvious restoration can be detected.

Decoration appears bright with little colour or enamel fading. No obvious signs of restoration. Rim appears to be free from chips. Small glazing imperfection to the interior of body. Some light scratching to the surface throughout. Some smudging to decoration is visible however generally in rather good order.

Impressive Japanese export baluster jar and cover, in the Imari pallet, decorated with birds amongst prunus and foliage, with repeating vignettes of fruits and flowers in a basket to the shoulders, the lid decorated with fo dog finial. Unmarked. 65cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Very grubby, wear to the gilding on dog finial, minor wear and minor frits to rim of lid, minor wear to the body of the vase, but no obvious damage.
Late 19th century Royal Worcester porcelain blush ivory and gilded five section spill vase/bough pot, in Japanese taste with reticulated panels of flowers and prunus standing on simulated bamboo supports. Green printed marks to the underside. Shape No. 604. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Some wear and discolouring to the gilding in places, wear noted to one foot. No obvious damage or restoration.

Minor wear and tear excepted.

The base probably silver with raised four character mark. 9cm high approx. Together with another Japanese cloisonne vase of small proportions on a blue ground overall with multi-coloured flowers and foliage. Appearing unmarked and standing 9.5cm high approx. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Damage to baluster jar (lid and inside). Damage to cloisonné rim of jar (see image), lid is dented. Finial is loose. Vase - Minor dinks/dents to top rim.

Puce printed marks to the underside. 9cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) In very good condition overall with no obvious damage, chips, cracks or restoration.

(B.P. 21% + VAT) The lid has a loss to the loss of the finial which is missing and chipped, otherwise no obvious damage.
