A 20th century Scandinavian glass vase Mounted with twin 925 silver handles formed as trailing bunches of grapes; together with a matching ladle. The vase 12.25 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Small inner rim chip to top, some wear to base, some tarnishing to metalware, general wear.
New Kingdom, 20th Dynasty, 1189-1077 BC. A glass tubular kohl vase in deep blue and pale green in the form of a papyrus stem with trailed decoration to the body of the vase; to the top a rim in the form of flower petals; hole to the top for insertion of make up applicator. For a similar example see the Museo Egizio, Turin, for the example from the tomb of Kha and Merit.52 grams, 90mm (3 1/2"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired by his father in the 1970s; thence by descent. Fine condition.
4th millennium BC. A large alabaster figure of an 'eye goddess' with schematic head in the form of two large tubular eyes, pierced through the centre; short neck leading to a globular vase-shaped body with flat base. 1.80 kg, 15cm (6"). From an important London collection formed before 1980. Fine condition. Rare.
