Also restored but visible hairline to the base spreading to the edge of the foot. Gilt covered nibbles around the foot rim.

CONDITION REPORT: Both vases with extensive crazing throughout with hairlines in area of flared rim, surface dirt and some wear. One vase with major re-glued crack and a smaller one.

Lot 1000

A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese tulip vase painted in underglaze blue with blossoming prunus within decorative bands, unmarked, height 24.5cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: The vase has been restored - the neck has been re-attached to the main body, also several areas of chips to the glaze and porcelain to the rims of the apertures and some firing/glazing imperfections including one major to the main body.
