Im Jahr 2012 hatte P.R.K einen intensiven Stipendienaufenthalt in der traditionsreichen Karlsruher Majolika-Manufaktur. Hier arbeitete er erstmalig mit Glasurfarben, deren Anwendung und Verarbeitung der Farbgestaltung auf Leinwand ganz konträr ist. In den ausgewählten Werken ist jedoch deutlich zu bemerken, wie frappierend es dem Künstler gelungen ist, eines seiner wesentlichen Gestaltungsmerkmale, eine leuchtend expressive Farbigkeit, auch in diesem ganz anderen Medium zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Die Vase hat einen Durchmesser von 24cm und eine Höhe von 36 cm und ist 2012 entworfen worden. Im Werksverzeichnis unter der Nummer WVZ 7059 abgebildet.
