Berlin Ovoid Cover Vase with integral square plinth, the body hand painted with an image of a putto resting his head on his crossed arms, to the front, and a spray of Deutsche Blumen to the back, both within oval gilt cartouches, linked to each other by means of a pink and pale blue leaf garland which loops over small bosses to either side, crosses the top of each cartouche as if held by blue ribbons, then links around the neck of the vase; the whole on a white ground with gilt scrolling and delicate patterned bands; both the integral square plinth and the cover follow the same theme of gilt on white; 10 inches high overall; underglaze blue sceptre mark to the inner base

A 19th Century oak and inlaid longcase clock, signed John Hough With a 30cm brass dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary date aperture, cask cherub, leaf and coronet spandrels, pierced blued hands, the two train eight day movement with anchor escapement rack striking on a saucer bell, the case with a swan neck cresting, brass leaf and roundel terminals centred with a vase above brass capped fluted columns, the trunk with a short door crossbanded with mahogany flanked by fluted quarter columns raised upon a panelled plinth base and bracket feet. 210cms with two weights and a pendulum. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2166 The right hand swan neck, to the pediment has been broken and re glued, visible, applied roundels, urn finial possibly replaced, inlay to the frieze once section missing left hand angle upright measures approx: 5 x 0.5cm, small piece of cross banding missing to glazed door border approx: 2 x 2cm, door sits slightly proud of the cabinet, original back board, small piece of beading missing to the raised panel right hand side angle approx: 5cm, case good colour additional break to the left hand swan neck, appearing on the mahogany veneer front, replaced seat board now with later angled brackets supporting it to the back board, movement working with two weights and pendulum.
A George II walnut toilet mirror With a cushion moulded frame enclosed by fluted uprights with brass vase finials the stepped plinth base with a curvilinear frieze drawer raised upon ogee bracket feet 82 x 45 x 21cm. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2243 - Brass urn finials possibly replaced, shrinkage cracks to the veneer surmounting the mirror, uprights faded, inset piece of rectangular veneer on the rectangular top beneath the mirror, a sliver of veneer missing on the outer crossbanded frieze, a piece of veneer inset just of the right of the pigeon hole, piece of inset veneer, to the centre bowfront section, some shrinkage to the veneer on the right hand side of the frieze drawer, no worm, glass some foxing.

Ltd, London 1893, (weighted). (2) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1735: First candlestick: the detachable nozzle extensively dented and misshapen, the vase extensively dented misshapen and bruised, in filled polish between spiral flutes each weighted bases solid, the second nozzle fixed to vase unable to pull off, flutes in filled with old polish weighted iron bases solid, no holes.
An early 19th Century needlework sampler The work of Mary Cross, 14th November 1825 with a eight line verse "Let gratitude in acts of goodness flow" worked with a half timbered dwelling and a castellated house beneath a vase of blooms within a leafy border, within an Hogarth style frame. 50x40cms. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1882 - Sampler creased around the edges and to the right of the black and white dwelling, some brown discolouration overall, colours generally bright around the frieze, vase, cottage and dwelling, Hogarth frame minor chip to the border, some gilt rubbing, back contemporary with the frame but not necessarily with the sampler
