A pair of ornate and heavy gauge silver candlesticks, in the Neo Classical style, with detachable drip pans, to a classical vase decorated with a band of bell flower and draped swags, standing upon a pedestal modelled with four rams heads and mono pods, patera, on down swept square bases, embossed with four classical urns, draped swags, and a continuous band of anthemion leaves, Birmingham 1972, makers mark of Barker Ellis Silver Co, 31cm high.

This volume was probably his own copy as it bears the bookplate of his son Edward Strutt (1801-1880) who became the 1st Baron Belper. Edward Strutt was a British Liberal Party politician, who served as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster from 1852 to 1854 under Lord Aberdeen. (1)
