20th Century Japanese School Collection of studio pottery comprising of: teapot with wrapped handle, 15cm high overall, large bowl, 13cm across, shallow dish, 11cm across, a blue and white chawan 7cm high, a pair of floral decorated yunomis, 8cm high, blue glazed squat bud vase, 6cm high, small pot-bellied cup with abstract motif and triangular mark,9cm high, small drip glazed yunomi, 7.5cm high, small rice bowl, with three circle mark to the base, 5cm high, very small saki cup with three strike mark to the base, 3.5cm high and two early 20th Century iron glazed tea powder storage pots,9cm high (13)Almost all with damage/restoration. Most are marked, but glaze has partially filled in the seal so we cannot identify them.
Collection of studio pottery comprising of: Leach style vase with faceted sides, unmarked, 11.5cm high, tall stem cup, indistinctly marked to the base, 10.5cm high, squat globular pot, unmarked, 8cm high, large vase with cream glaze, unmarked, 19cm high and a Japanese studio potter pot of natural form with shino glaze, indistinctly marked to the base, 12cm high (5)Overall good condition, with minimal glaze/firing faults. Crazing to the glaze in places.
Gillian Acreman (Contemporary) tall studio pottery vase, with floral and leaf decoration, seal mark to the footrim, 43cm high and a bowl with similar decoration, seal mark to the rim, 13cm high x 24cm high (2)Overall ok with minimal glaze faults in places. The bowl is quite dull when tapped, but we cannot see any cracks.
Christopher Bourne (Contemporary) studio pottery vase of flattened form, paper label to the base, 14cm high overall, a studio pottery bowl with speckled exterior, painted signature to the base, 13.5cm across x 7cm high, and a studio pottery dish, unmarked, 14cm across (3)Shallow bowl has hairline crack. Speckled bowl has small chips to the rim. Others have overall wear and minimal glaze faults.
Alan Caiger-Smith (1930-2020) at Aldermaston potterystudio pottery goblet with lustre decoration, signed to the base, 16cm high overall and a possibly Mauder studio pottery bottle vase, with painted mark to the base, 20cm high overall (2)Goblet has hairline crack. Some glaze/firing faults to both as expected.
Collection of ceramics and glassware including Laurence McGowan studio pottery jugs, decorated with robins, William Plumptre vase, studio pottery model of a fawn, unsigned, 26cm high, a ceramic tile with Charles Rennie Mackintosh design etc (10)All have signs of wear and some scratches. McGowan sauce boat is stained and chipped. Marbled lamp base damaged. Plumptre crazed but otherwise seems ok. Tile is scratched/marked. Cauldron vase is crazed. Yellow incised vase with faces has damage. The largest vase is crazed and is dull when tapped, but we cannot see any damage to that one.
Mary Rich (1940-2022) Studio pottery teapot with wooden handle, impressed potters seal mark to the footrim, 15cm high overall including the handle and a studio pottery vase with lustre decoration, painted signature 'MK' to the base, 21cm high (2)Lustre vase is chipped. Teapot spout chipped, lug repaired.
Mary Rich (1940-2022) studio pottery bowl, with impressed marks to the footrim, a John Jelfs studio pottery vase with spiral decoration, impressed mark near the base, 17cm high overall and one other studio pottery vase, with impressed mark near the footrim, possibly by Bridget Stacey, 23cm high (3)The tallest vase has some wear and slight damages to the foot, others ok overall with some minor firing faults.
David Sharp at Rye Potterymodel of a cat with multi-coloured decoration, signed to the base, 13cm high, a Poole pottery dish decorated with flowers, stamped mark to the base, 13cm across and a studio pottery vase after Hans Coper (1920-1981), with indistinct mark to the base, 17cm high (3)Overall with minimal marks and some scratches, minor glaze faults in places. No major damage.

Small collection of studio ceramics comprising of: a Geoffrey Eastop vase, with speckled decoration, signed to the base, 10cm high, one other small vase with incised signature to the base, 9.5cm high, a Roger Cockram fish bowl, impressed seal marks to the footrim, 13.5cm high and a contemporary porcelain abstract bird with green glaze, impressed mark to the base, 20cm high (4)All with overall wear, some scratches and some firing faults as expected. The tail of the bird is dull when tapped, possibly cracked although we cannot see any damage.
Aldo Londi (1911-2003) for Bitossi Ceramiche Rimini pottery vase, marked 712/Italy to the base, 16cm high overall and a Denby pottery vase, with stamped Denby mark and handpainted initials to the base, 28cm high (2) Overall crazing to the Bitossi vase, small bruise/loss of glaze to one side (small). The Denby vase is ok overall.
Kari Christensen (1938-1997) for Aluminia (Royal Copenhagen) large decorative bottle vase, with painted marks to the base, 28cm high, a Royal Copenhagen square pottery dish with painted and stamped marks to the base, 10.5cm across and a Royal Copenhagen 'Piet Hein' commemorative plaque, with marks to the reverse, 17cm across (3) Crazing to the glaze in places, some small firing marks, otherwise ok.
Collection of ceramics comprising of: Norman Makinson for Wedgwood plates, Colin Kellam studio pottery fish plate, Wedgwood teapot and jug, studio pottery yunomi decorated with flowers, Aldermaston pottery bowl, John Jelfs tea bowl, Carn pottery vase etc (23)Overall wear, marks, scratches and signs of use to all. Honour Hussey vase with glaze faults/blistering. Aldermaston bowl is damaged. Wedgwood teapot with damages. Slight wear to the gilding on some of the Wedgwood plates.

Elizabeth Amour for Bough Potterypair of Arts & Crafts vases, circa 1923, with blue glaze and a single band of leaf motifs, signed 'E.A/1923/BOUGH', 22cm high (2) Crazing to the glaze, overall signs of display wear and light use. Each vase sounds dull when tapped, but we cannot see any large cracks or chips.
