Sven Palmqvist (1906-1984) for Orrefors Kraka Glass Vase, engraved ORREFORS Kraka No.322 Sven Palmqvist, 36cm high See illustration In 1944 Sven developed the Kraka technique, its name derived from a character in an old Norse myth, who wrapped herself in a fishing net. Kraka consisted of a delicate Graal pattern sandblasted through a fine mesh, often with tiny bubbles captured in between the threads. . Good condition. No chips or cracks. Some minimal scratches to the underside. No scratches to note to the main body.

René Lalique (French, 1860-1945): An Opalescent, Stained and Frosted Ceylan No.905 Glass Vase, of tapering cylindrical form, moulded in relief with pairs of budgerigars perched on foliage, wheel cut mark R LALIQUE FRANCE, etched No.905, 25cm (chipped) .Chipped at lower part 3cm by 2cm. Blue staining is worn. Nick to top rim.
