PAIR OF NEO-CLASSICAL-REVIVAL FOOTED COVERED VASES, M. 19TH CENTURYpair of neoclassical revival amphora shaped polychrome enamel glazed and gilt mounted scenic genre decorated foot and covered vases. ovoid shaped paired vases with a summer landscape genre scene of women and putti. a cobalt blue ground with a white and navy waisted neck with gold foliate and acanthus leaves. the base is made up of a wreath of gold foliage on square intricate acanthus feet. overall height: 80 cm (31 1/2 in.) CONDITIONThe vase is in overall excellent condition. Minor scuffing on rounded base and body. Inspection under UV shows scattered fluorescence; no apparent signs of restoration. N.B.
