Seven pieces of Maling to include two circular bowls, a small pedestal bowl, a small bowl of three rounded supports, an oval bowl, a rounded vase, and a biscuit barrel and cover. CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condition. All pieces have some crazing to glaze and a little rubbing to gilding.

A pair of Maling floral gilt heightened vases, numbered 6157 to base, height 24.5cm, a similarly decorated baluster vase, height 21.5cm, a pair of Maling Peona vases of waisted form, numbered 5030, height 18.5cm, and a Maling gilt heightened ovoid floral decorated vase, height 21cm (6). CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condition. All pieces have some crazing to glaze and a little rubbing to gilding. Also a few glaze imperfections to rims. Small surface scuffs to one example.

A pair of Maling "Cetem Ware" tapering vases decorated with fruit, numbered 3449, height 19cm, a "Cetem Ware" cylindrical lustre decorated vase with two birds amongst floral sprays, numbered 3072, height 25cm, a Maling floral decorated waisted vase, numbered 3773, height 24cm, a "Cetem Ware" fruit decorated ovoid vase, numbered 3449, height 15.5cm, and a lustre decorated jug (6). CONDITION REPORT: Some crazing, mainly to bases. One of pair has defect to surface glaze (approx 0.5cm).

Lot 435

LOSOL; a large quantity of floral transfer decorated ware, predominantly jugs, also an octagonal jardinière, two vases, a teapot, a teapot stand, and a basket (badly damaged). CONDITION REPORT: Heights: 2 x set of 3 jugs - tallest 19cm; other jugs all approx 17cm. Some rubbing to gilding, generally. Jug with citrus fruit has flat chip to base and some wear to decoration. One large jug has some crazing to glaze. Rosebowl basket handle broken (pieces present). Teapot and stand has crazing to glaze throughout. Jardiniere has scratches inside, crazing to edge of base. Lidded vase - crazing.

Lot 436

LOSOL; a collection of floral decorated and geometrically decorated ware including a gilt heightened vase decorated with butterflies, numbered 5320, a pair of "Jazzette" vases, two bowls, a biscuit barrel and cover, various plates, and a cup. CONDITION REPORT: Heigt of all vases approx 20.5cm. Rubbing to gilt generally to most pieces. Surface dirt. Pair of vases: crazing to glaze and one of them has a loss to the rim (4cm). Bowl: star crazing to bottom. Pair of plates: broken and re-glued. One of the biscuit barrels has firing crack to base.

LOSOL; a quantity of floral gilt heightened ware including a pair of octagonal baluster vases, numbered 3480, a pair of floral transfer decorated octagonal vases, numbered 3684, a large twin handled vase and cover, a moustache cup and saucer, etc. CONDITION REPORT: Heights: pair of bottle vases - height 23cm; lidded vase - 23cm (finial af but present); pair of baluster vases - 19cm; large lidded vase - 26cm (excluding lid). Crazing to glaze of some examples and rubbing to gilding and surface dirt. Otherwise appear good with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

A pair of early 20th century German hand painted porcelain baluster vases and covers, each with vignette of a young couple in a landscape beside floral sprays within a peacock feather decorated border with domed covers, painted marks and incised numbers to base, height 27cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: Both covers have been restored, one extensively one to the rim, one vase has extensive restoration to the neck, very light wear to the gilding and very light surface scratching.

Lot 462

A German Royal Bayreuth ceramic jug modelled as playing cards with handle modelled as Mephisto, height 18.5cm, a further Continental vase with gilt heightened decoration, height 22cm, and a pair of miniature cylindrical vases with encrusted floral decoration (af) (4). CONDITION REPORT: Jug - considerable surface dirt which should be removable, rubbing to some parts of "Mephisto" handle, one of the horns is chipped, firing flaw to spout. ovoid vase - little wear to gilding, some surface scuffs. Pair of miniature vases - damage to both applied decoration, rubbing to gilding on feet. Postage within UK would be £18 + VAT.

Lot 465

A c.1900 Continental bulbous vase decorated with opposing vignettes of a couple on landscape interspersed by floral sprays, bearing pseudo Augustus Rex mark to base, height 23.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Rubbing to gilding particularly to the rim and neck. Surface scratches to both figural panels.

CONDITION REPORT: Large vase: surface dirt which should be removable, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

A Royal Copenhagen rounded square section floral decorated vase, no.367/240, height 17cm, a Bing and Grondahl ovoid vase decorated with flowers, no.8812-210ES, height 16.5cm, a squat circular vase, no.2671/42.8, height 6cm, a pair of rounded square section Bing and Grondahl dishes and a small Storkereden square dish (6). CONDITION REPORT: Minor surface scratches throughout. Bing & Grondahl vase has some staining to the interior, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

An early 20th century "Royal Vienna" twin handled footed vase transfer decorated with mythological scene, height 39cm, a similar pair of floral decorated vases, height 35.5cm and a similar pair decorated with pastoral scenes (5). CONDITION REPORT: General wear to gilding (especially handles). General crazing to glaze. Figural pair - scuffing to panels, damage to background paint to one of them. Single vase - cracking to panel. Floral pair - cracks to rim of one, scuffing to panel, slightly faded. Please see additional images for marks.

A quantity of Brookdale fruit decorated hand painted wares by J. Mottram including a trio garniture of vases, a pair of trumpet vases, a pair of lidded vases and a twin handled vase and cover, etc (8). CONDITION REPORT: General condition good with some surface dirt that should be removable. A couple of tiny nicks to fruit paint only.

A quantity of decorative ceramics including a Carlton Ware blue ground chinoiserie decorated vase, copper lustre, two lidded sucriers, etc. CONDITION REPORT: Carlton Ware vase - crack to one of the handles, wear to gilding, badly restored chip to base and some other chips to base small chip to side of rim. Others - surface dirt, general wear, lustre mug has star crack to base, and some nibbles.

CONDITION REPORT: Finial has been off and badly repaired. Nibbles to rim of lid and a chip. Two hairline cracks to rim of neck. Firing crack to base.

A late 19th century Chinese blue and white porcelain sleeve vase decorated with a continuous band of a standing female figure beside a child within a landscape, bearing four character mark to base, height 36cm.

Lot 519

A large Chinese celadon glazed twin handled baluster vase painted in underglaze blue with architectural landscape, unmarked, height 44cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: One handle is missing, the other has a loss to the lower part. There are also some nibbles to the rim.

Lot 520

A large late 19th/early 20th century Chinese crackle glaze vase of baluster form with flared rim and mask and ring handles, overall painted in enamels with battle scenes in a continuous landscape, with two bands to the neck depicting similar scenes, and with ornamental band to the tapering base, with incised character seal mark to the base, height 60cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: There is a major crack to the rim spreading into a hairline, one of the rings has traces of regluing in four sections, other handle appears to have had some restoration. Rubbing to the paint, manly to the base.

A 19th century Chinese Canton vase of cylindrical form with ribbed neck, painted in enamel with four opposing panels depicting court scenes and birds and butterflies amongst foliage, on gold ground with scroll and floral motifs, height 36cm (traces of restoration to upper part). CONDITION REPORT: The vase possibly had a flared rim but it has been cut due to possible damage.

Lot 528

A late 19th century Chinese vase of baluster form with flared rim painted in enamels with two opposing panels, one depicting a figural lake and mountainous landscape, the other a bird perched on blossoming branch, with similar decoration to the neck, on a blue ground with floral and foliate sprays, bearing four character Kangxi mark to base, height 30cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: Rim and portions of neck badly restored and a small loss has been filled.

Lot 540

A Chinese cloisonné enamel decorated circular bowl depicting two dragons chasing an orb, diameter 11cm, a further similar baluster vase, a Japanese cloisonné vase and jar with cover (both af), two Japanese metal jewellery boxes with embossed decoration to hinged lids, and a circular wooden box decorated with Mount Fuji to the detachable lid, diameter 14.5cm (7). CONDITION REPORT: The two Japanese cloisonné pieces have got damage to the surface and the vase has got the bottom missing, the other pieces have wear commensurate with age, the Chinese cloisonné bowl has some cracks and minor dents visible from the inside.

Lot 550

A Chinese red lacquered oval plaque decorated with two female figures in a landscape, 27.5 x 16.25cm, and a damaged black and red lacquered vase, height 24.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: The dish appears to be in good condition, just general traces of wear but no obvious losses. The vase has areas of major losses (please see additional images).

Lot 551

A 19th century Chinese bronze vase of archaic form with two loose ring handles and applied rope decoration, the circular foot decorated with dragons, unmarked, height 15cm.

CONDITION REPORT: The vase has some areas of regluing, also chips, some losses and scratches, and the jade censer has some minor nibbles.

CONDITION REPORT: Vase: Major star crack to the back spreading to the rim, also the vase has a manufacturing imperfection.
