Small brown dots at top and bottom of this band and the rest of the vase is a darker bluish green shiny glaze. Markings to base 'S' (possibly Eliza Stock), 'BB5, '7042' and 'Cp'. Approximate height 23.5cm/ 9".

A pair of Doulton Lambeth 1882 Hannah Barlow vases with patterned top and bottom and incised pictures in the panel. One is a sheep being chased by dogs and underneath has the mark of Hannah Barlow followed by '235' and the mark of Lucy A Barlow '482' (also features the marks of possibly Emma A Burrows, L Clark and one other). The second vase features sheep, dogs and plants and underneath the mark for Hannah Barlow '234' and Lucy A Barlow '481' as well as the same marks as on the first vase. Approximate height 21.5cm/ 8 1/2".
