A George III Mahogany Commode Armchair with slightly shaped crest rail, solid vase pattern splat, shaped arms, drop-in seat upholstered in black leather concealing commode cut-out and turned wood cover, shaped apron and on carved cabriole legs with pad feetCondition ReportSome light scattered scratching and uneven fading to the frame. The leather seat is heavily distressed with a centre rip. The joints have shrunk due to shrinkage commensurate with age, to the pot cover there is an area of damage on the right hand edge of the lip with a large portion missing around 6ins long, the feet have some general wear commensurate with age. The chair itself is structurally sound with little to no movement to the joints.
