A group of four Chinese blue and white vases19th CenturyThe first of bottle form with garlic mouth, decorated with bands of flowers and foliage, 25.5cm high (later metal rim mount), the second of baluster form and decorated with confronting dragons amid clouds, 19cm high (lacking cover), the third of ovoid form and decorated with confronting dragons, 22.5cm high, the fourth of similar shape and decorated with prunus blossom, 20cm high. (4) Conditon Report: Garlic head vase: Metal rim applied later presumed covering chip/damage. Whole garlic head section has been off and cleanly restuck. Fine hairline crack to body.Baluster vase: Probably lacking cover. Minor surface scratches and signs of age.Ovoid dragon vase: No discernible damage.Ovoid prunus vase: Very small chip to foot rim.
