A Sèvres blue ground milk jug (pot a lait a trois pieds), circa 1775, blue interlaced L's mark with a branch-moulded handle and three feet, painted a vase of trailing summer flowers within an oval gilt tooled cartouche, the richly-gilt border with scrolling foliage, 12.2 cm and a Sèvres blue ground tea cup and saucer, circa 1760, perhaps later-decorated with a girl seated with a dog and a boy with fishing rod within tooled gilt flower and scroll cartouche, dentil rims, interlaced L's, date letter E for 1758 and decorators anchor mark/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: Jug has hair crack to lower side, only visible from interior. One foot has a rivetted repair, this is in the same area as the haircrack. Some minor wear and flakes to gilding. Saucer in good condition. Cup has small firing blemish near rim, minor losses to gilt at rim, otherwise good.
