Großer attischer Skyphos der CHC-Gruppe. 490 - 480 v. Chr. Heron-Klasse. H ohne Henkel 13,1cm, B mit Henkeln 24,9cm, ø Mündung 18cm, ø Fuß 10,9cm. Schwarzfigurig mit weißen und roten Details. Auf beiden Seiten zwischen Sphingen eine Mänade und ein Satyr tänzelnd nach rechts. Aus Fragmenten zusammengesetzt, kleine Fehlstellen an den Bruchkanten sind retuschiert. Provenienz: Aus der Sammlung M. M., Südbayern; in Deutschland seit mindestens 1990; ex Gorny & Mosch, München, Auktion 279, 2021, Los 14. CHC steht für Chariot Courting Group. Auf einer Plinthe kniende, männliche Figur mit kahlgeschorenem Kopf leert eine Libationsflüssigkeit aus einer Hes-Vase. Schöne grüne Patina, intakt. Provenienz: Ex Sammlung G., Frankreich. Fuß mehrfach gebrochen und geklebt, fehlende Mündung ergänzt und retuschiert. Weißgrundige Zylinderlekythos. H 15cm. Herakles und der kretische Stier.
