KEN MATSUZAKI (born 1950); a yohen wood fired stoneware vase, incised mark, height 32.5cm, with signed box.After graduating from Japan's Tamagawa University’s College of Arts in 1972, Matsuzaki began a three year apprenticeship with (National Living Treasure) Tatsuzo Shimaoka, later extended a further two years whilst he learned to develop his own style.
