A Royal Worcester figural spill vase by James Hadley formed as a figure playing a banjo. Along with a pair of Royal Worcester leaf formed dishes and a Royal Worcester blush ware part dessert service, comprising a comport and two plates. Printed green and puce marks. Some restoration to the figures left hand and neck / head of the banjo. Flatwares all in good condition.
Two Rockingham circular plaques in gesso frames, a Rockingham cylindrical spill vase with seaweed gilding and a Staffordshire porcelain swan. One plaque painted with still life study of grapes and signed J. Ross, 1829, the other, a factory waster, painted with an urn of flowers on a marble slab. The floral plaque is painted on the underside of a dish, the printed griffin mark shows through the enamelling of the urn. Frames 20.75cm diameter. Grapes plaque is actually a plaque or a box lid rather than a waster but is broken into three pieces. Floral plaque a waster showing flower decorating to the underside. Both frames damaged. Vase cracked and with gilt wear. Swan with loss to its wings.
An early 20th century gilt bronze and bohemian glass tablelamp. The glass is emerald green with white and gilt overlay and having castellated top, 33.5cm to top of glass. The glass is 19th century and the top section of a vase, there is a chip to the lower rim that can be hidden to the rear. The wiring may need to be replaced by a qualified electrician.
A Chinese baluster shaped vase decorated in iron red enamel, gilt and with turquoise interior. Painted with a ground of lotus scrolls, with shou characters, butterflies and fish. Qianlong seal painted in underglaze blue on a turquoise ground base but most likely 19th century, 26cm. Large piece with an old re glued repair to the rim with a small adjoining shard. No other damage, free from any professional repair. Enamels bright and free from wear.
A large Japanese Meiji period cloisonné baluster shaped vase on hardwood plinth. Yellow ground with lotus scrolls and butterflies and with four roundel panels containing flowers, birds and precious objects, 39.5cm total height. Large flat chip to one of the roundels later coloured in blue roughly 10p size (see image). Some pin holes from manufacture.
A pair of early 20th century Chinese carved hardwood figures each formed as a sage and with silver wire inlay. Along with a bronze baluster vase of archaistic form. Figures, 35cm. One figure with staff re glued. Bronze vase previously used as a lamp base, drilled and with base re glued.
