Ernest Gordon - Paul Kedelv - A group of three mid Century Scandinavian studio art glass, vase and 2x bowls. The tear drop vase designed by Ernest Gordon for Afors , Sweden 1950's signed to base, A coquille shaped green and opaque colourway designed by Paul Kedelv signed to base and the other amber and opaque believed to be designed by Oy Kumela, Finland. Measures 23cm wide (widest).
A Chinese famille-rose vase, a pair of Chinese lidded vases with four character mark to base, a transfer decorated "Willow" pattern mug, Chinese famille-rose bowl, an ironstone punch bowl and an Imari ware leaf-shaped dish, a collection of blue and white wares, to include Wedgwood oblong bowl decorated with hibiscus and a similar Wedgwood tureen base, a "Willow" pattern platter, assorted "Willow" pattern bowls and plates, a G Phillips of Longport plate with decoration of Nuneham House Oxfordshire and a wild rose border, various further plates, warming plates, etc CONDITION REPORTS All pieces show extensive chips, cracks and areas of restoration. See pictures for details. For more detailed informaton on individual pieces, please contact. The famille-rose vase - height is 26cms, Pair of Chinese lidded vases are approximately 27.5 cms. The blue and white cup has a height of 10cms and a width 9.5cms. The large famille-rose bowl has height of 13.5cms and diameter 31cms. The small bowl has a height of 10cms and diameter of 22.5cms and the leaf shaped dish has a length of 24cms with width of 17cms.Both of the Longport plates have substantial cracks. One of them has a chip, turning into a crack that runs from one edge into the centre of the plate and splits into two going round either side of the centre of the plate around the base - see images for details. Crazing throughout, accretions, build-up of dirt, fading, surface scratches, general weaer and tear commensurate with age. The second plate has what appears to be an old repair of a chip to an edge of the plate with other chips to the centre and the edges of the plate. It also has a crack going from the raised base and splitting. Surface scratches, dirt, accretions etc - see images for details
A Chinese Cantonese vase decorated with various figures and animals with gilt highlighted decoration to the handles and applied dragon decoration, together with a pair of 19th Century Cantonese famille-rose vases decorated with various figures in interiors CONDITION REPORTS Considerable signs of damage and reapirs, various cracks etc running through the whole body. Various chips to the rim. Wear to the gilt work and to the interior, signs of glue. Chips aned losses to the base. Extensive wear and tear throughout. 63 cm in height. The vase has extensive cracks throughout the entire body and neck and signs of restoration. There is a large chip to the underside of the rim and chips to some of the applied gilt decoration. The gilt is worn in numerous areas, surface scratches, accretions - see images for further details. One of the vases has substantial loss to rim - one half of the rim is completely missing and down some of the neck as well. One of the applied gilt dragons on the same vase is missing a head and there is also a chip to the flared collar of the vase where the dragon head would have been. On the other side, one of the draggon's hind legs has broken off. There are numerous surface scratches and loss of gilt and fading, discolouration, accretions. The second vase has surface scratches, accretions, fading to the gilt. There is also a large crack which goes down on one side of the vase from the neck to half way down the main body of the vase. A polychrome decorated Chinese jardinier with double ring mark to base, a Ken Edwards Mexican ovoid vase decorated with owl amongst foliage, together with a 20th Century Chinese bowl with rooster decoration CONDITION REPORTS Jardiniere approx 23.5 cm diameter x 19.5 cm in height. Various cracks to the base and to the body including into some of the decorative panels in various locales. The light blue glaze not prevalent at the base of the interior or indeed the rim. A Copeland China oblong dish with hand-painted central floral spray initialled "MC" with gilt embellished rim, printed "Copeland China England" to base, together with a twin-handled vase of squash form with green ground and painted floral spray decoration to the yellow and gilt highlighted handles with cross mark to base, a Derby "Haddon" tea saucer and two Davenport Imari decorated egg cups and one further similar CONDITION REPORTS Copeland dish has numerous surface scratches, build up of dirt, areas of loss to the gilt. There is a chip in the corner of the rim of the rim and also an area of loss to part of the rim. There is also a large crack that goes from one corner through widthways to the opposite side of the dish and a couple of other smaller cracks. Some crazing and accretions. Two Coalport style vases in the Classical taste, the handles as winged caryatids with hand-painted floral sprays, on a cobalt blue ground with gilt highlights CONDITION REPORTS Areas of loss of gilt on both vases. Surface scratches on both vases. Chips to the underside on both vases and on the underside of the vase body where the stem is bolted on - see pictures for further details. Both vases approx 23 cm high x approx 14 cm diameter.
Two large mottled green "malachite" glass ewers with applied gilt decoration, together with a similarly designed decanter and perfume bottle, an amber and black vase with etched swirl pattern and a large amethyst vase with applied air bubble CONDITION REPORTS The amethyst vase with applied air bubble has light surface scratches, a build up of dirt and dust, accretions.The green mottled ewers all have surface scratches, areas of loss to the gilt on both of the ewers, on the perfume bottle and the decanter. There is slight wear to the base, accretions and there is staining both on the inside of the decanter and the perfume bottle. All pieces show general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. Four cut glass decanters in an oak box, together with a cut glass posy vase and a further glass vase CONDITION REPORTS The case has numerous surface scratches, small chips and dents to the wood. The leather inside is scratched and some areas of the lather are missing and dirty and there are many accretions on the leather. Discolouration and fading to the wood, bleaching etc. There is some staining and some accretions to the case also. The top part of the lock is missing and the brass banding around the box is tarnished. The glass decanters all have numerous small and large chips, surface scratches, etc. Two of the decanters - the rims have large chips on them and one of them is missing the entire side of the rim. All stoppers have chips to them and there appears to be some staining inside of the decanters as well and accretions. All items show general wear and tear commensurate with age - see images for details

A pair of cloisonné vases decorated with lilies on a sky blue ground CONDITION REPORTS First vase has extensive cracking to the enamel work on one side of the vase. the rim is comng away fro mthe top and there are a few knocks and dents in the rim, the same with the base. Numerous surface scratches and cracks throughout the enamel around the vase. The second vase has two large areas of enamel missing and extensive cracking to the enamel around the missing areas of enamel. Small cracks in areas all around the vase also. The rim has some small dents to the metal and the same to the base. Light surface scratches and accretions all over on both vases, some pitting and also build up of dirt in areas.
