To the body of the lamp painted with central Egyptian scene. All raised on a circular wooden base. Sold as untested. Measures approx. 82cm x 20cm diameter.
A Chinese celadon glazed vase bearing faux six character Chenghua (1465-87) mark to base, raised on a wooden base, 39 cm high CONDITION REPORTS There are some firing faults and flaws to the glaze and to the construction, most noticeably to the base of each handle. There are two chips to the circular base and a couple of chips to the glaze on the main body. A 19th Century jadeite bowl of peach form on a carved wooden stand 16 cm wide, a pink jade carving of a figure riding a giant fish 12.5 cm wide x 11.5 cm high on a wooden stand, a small carved malachite figure of an elephant and two white metal pots set with hand stones and a modern black veined white alabaster vase of trumpet form 21 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The jadeite bowl - has significant flaws, appears to have been broken and re-glued. Incredibly crystalline in structure. Has some chips to the extremities, particularly on the base of two leaves. The lid is quite a different colour - again crystalline in structure and has a couple of chips. All in need of a good clean. The rose quartz figure has a large crack which has been re-glued, running all the way through it. Part of it has got some text transferred underneath. Very dirty. In need of a clean. Chips and losses to the extremities throughout. General wear and tear through to both conducive to age, use and manufacture. See images for further detail.
