A monumental Victorian oak and brass mounted bracket clock on stand, the clock with 7" circular dial with Arabic numerals to silvered domed tablets, the centre embossed with a flaming sun, applied to all sides with brass mounts cast as foliage, putti, acorns and masks, the three train movement playing a pinned cylinder and striking bells on the quarter and half hours, further striking bells, playing a cylinder and chiming on a coil going on the hours, movement no. 1458, with pendulum; the stand in the form of a square tapering vase cabinet, similarly applied with brass mounts and enclosing glass shelves, the moulded base raised on brass ball feet.
