A porcelain Group of two Ladies wearing Hunting Attire German (Bisque), "The Ladies of Llangollen," together with a blue two handled Vase with coloured print transfer of the "Ladies of Llangollen," unusual and rare. (2)* The Ladies of Llangollen were Eleanor Butler and Sarah Ponsonby, both upper class Irish women who scandalized their contemporaries as a result of their relationship.

Largest - chips to rim of foot, two small firing cracks to top of vase, otherwise good. Medium vase - chips to rim of foot, manufacturing chip to rim which is glazed over, otherwise good. A Chinese famille verte 'landscape' vase: of lantern form, painted with numerous fishing boats and buildings in an extensive lake landscape with mountainous background and within underglaze blue ruyi bands to the neck and base, apocryphal underglaze blue five-character Qianlong seal mark, 37 cm.
