Chinese late 19th century Canton famille rose bottle vase and domed cover, the body decorated with flowers, birds and insects between ruyi and palmate bands, 38cm. Condition Report 360 Large chip and numerous others and smaller to the rim of the cover and a further two large chips to the finial. Firing flaw at the base of the finial. Firing crack to the underside of the rim. The vase has a long, hairline crack approximately 20cm long around the base above the foot rim. Large chip to the rim. Some light surface scratches and scuffs. Some losses to the painted decoration especially that which is pink.
Large Moorcroft vase of 'Leaf and Berry' design, 38cm high. Condition Report Generally in good condition. Light glaze cracks in some areas. Small, yellow patch on one of the green leaves. Signed W. Moorcroft to the base. No obvious chips or damages to the main body of the vase. Under glaze chip to the base, where there is a slight dent to lower rim.
Royal Worcester vase by John Stinton decorated with vignettes of landscape and Highland cattle, with pierced cover and gilt embellishment, 16cm high. Condition Report Signed J. Stinton. Cover: In poor condition. Body: Wear to the gilding. Overall very grubby but appears ok.
Royal Worcester Charles Baldwyn twin-handled vase with flying swan panel to the front and swallows to the reverse, floral decorated cover with gilt knob, signed C. Baldwyn, 18cm high. Condition Report Signed C. Baldwyn. Pale blue ground is grubby. There is a roughness to the rim at approximately 90 degrees from the handle and this maybe an indication that the vase has been restored. There is wear to the gilding. The cover has some signed of wear to the gilding but no obvious signs of damage. Please note our comments and make your own judgements. See additional images.
18th or early 19th century Chinese tulip vase decorated with flower panels, 24cm high. Condition Report 429 Visible hairline cracks to the interior, which do not show on the exterior. Numerous small defects, such as firing flaws and fritting and bubbling of the glaze throughout the piece resulting in glaze losses. One of the flower apertures has been restored and a crack all the way round is visible. There are numerous small and large chips to the corners of the rims of the flower apertures. The base is covered in a yellowish paint or some residue.
Pair of pottery baluster vases with applied decoration of storks and flowerheads on pale green ground, 46cm. Condition Report Vase 1: small chips to the rim. Chips to the flowerhead and petals. Vase 2: chips to petals and leaves, central stamen of one flower missing. Small chip to plumage and two claws a/f.
Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson of Kilburn oak sideboard having three central drawers flanked by two cupboard doors, raised on octagonal supports, bearing mouse signature to the left flank, 152cm long, 82cm high and 46cm deep. Condition Report Minor marks to the top. Has dark patches to the top. May have faded and have had a vase at either end left of the noticeable patches.
