An unusual Chinese turquoise glazed dragon decorated vase, raised on an associated hardwood stand, the vase height 26.5cm.Condition Report: There is a small chip to the embossed decoration. The stand has a section missing, and further splits visible. The height stated is for the vase only. The height including the base is 30cm.

Lot 504

A group of predominantly 20th century Chinese and Japanese ceramics including two similar cylindrical scent bottles, saucer dish, also Japanese Imari, carved gilded seated figure, etc. Condition Report: The small Imari bowl has a hairline fracture running from the top rim approx 3/4 of the way down the bowl. The large Imari bowl has a small rim chip with another larger chip with crude repair, some minor crazing also visible. Green celadon vase has a chip to the foot rim, and two very minor chips to the top rim. One of the small pair of sleeve vases is missing it's upper section. One of the blue and white tea bowls has a hairline fracture and various chips to the rim. The larger blue and white bowl has areas on the rim where the decoration/glaze has come away. The blue and white sauce has a chip to the rim. The blue and white side plate has three rim chips, a hairline crack and chips to the foot rim, one with crude repair. The larger figure of the seated elder has a large chip and crude repair to the front left corner of the base, and both chair arms appear to be missing a piece.
