Six pieces of Aller Vale (Torquay) pottery: decorated in blue slips in the Sandringham pattern, comprising two quintuple necked tulip vases, three various ewers and a vase, each with impressed marks and incised pattern nos., tallest 30.5 cm and smallest 13 cm high.
An Aller Vale (Torquay) pottery vase: of tapering form incised with a panel of a knight in full armour and verso with a panel of scrolling foliage and flowers, alternating with stylised foliate motifs on a textured ground, a variation of the 'Q1' pattern, 22 cm high, [good professional restoration to margins of rim and foot].
A Longpark (Torquay) pottery vase: of oviform with flaring neck decorated in coloured slips with a 'Collard' scroll pattern with single mythical dolphin reserved on a green ground, flanked by simple bands, impressed Longpark Torquay with indistinct circular mark, circa 1895-1905, 30 cm high.

A Watcombe (Torquay) pottery pedestal vase: of oviform with anthemion handles and flaring neck, the unglazed body painted in black with three classical Muses the foot, handles and rim with chocolate glazes and gilt detailing, impressed Watcombe Torquay with 'birds feet' mark for William Higginbottom, circa 1875, 36 cm high. Bears a glued newspaper cutting under the foot indicating it was awarded by Watcombe to the winner of the 440 yards open handicap. *Notes. Two Aller Vale fan shaped vases and a kingfisher vase: the former of conical form with flattened fan shaped neck with multiple spouts each decorated with coloured slips with a dolphin, [loss to one spout], the companion of similar form but decorated with a kingfisher amongst bull rushes, [loss and repair to rim], impressed marks to each. (3)
Four Aller Vale (Torquay) pottery vases: each decorated in the 'D1' pattern, comprising a pair of small vases and one larger, each of garlic shaped form together with one larger similar vase, each decorated with scrolling foliage in coloured slips reserved on a blue ground beneath a simple band, the pair impressed Aller Vale, the matching larger example also inscribed '1111 and D1', circa 1890-1900, 15, 20 and 20.5 cm high.
An Aller Vale (Torquay) pottery ewer and two similar vases: each decorated in the 'M3' pattern, the former of tapering form with bell shaped base, a two handled vase of flattened tear drop form and a small vase with crimped rim, each decorated in coloured slips with a heron, or egret, amongst reeds and flowering lilies, reserved on a green ground, impressed Aller Vale, Devon, England, two incised M3, circa 1891-1902.(3)
Four various Aller Vale vases: comprising a gourd shaped example incised and applied with coloured slips in the 'Humming Bird' pattern, 11.5 cm high, another of slender oviform with raised neck decorated with a version of the D1 pattern in coloured slips on a blue ground with narcissus and scrolling foliage, impressed Aller Vale, 15 cm high, a mitre vase decorated in coloured slips with a Scandy pattern, 18 cm high and another of footed gourd shaped form decorated with cream scrolls on a green ground, 16 cm high.
A Clarice Cliff Fantasque daffodil vase: of flattened fan shaped form with ribbed handles enamelled in the House and Bridge pattern, Fantasque and Bizarre backstamps, embossed shape no. 450, circa 1931-33, 32.5 cm wide, complete with central pierced 'rock' flower holder, with banded decoration. (2)
A Royal Worcester porcelain vase decorated by Harry Stinton: of cylindrical form on pierced foot enamelled with an upland landscape containing five Highland cows and a hut in the background, 16 cm high, signed lower right, puce marks and date code for 1929, pattern no. 6/161.
A pair of Jacob Petit porcelain vases and one similar: the former of lobed and pierced foliate form flanked by three similar smaller necks applied with flowers on a gilt embellished ground, painted marks to underside, circa 1850-60, 35 cm high, together with a similar foliate moulded vase, 42 cm high, [small losses to flowers].
A rare Sèvres pot-pourri 'Pompadour' vase and cover: of oviform with six pierced apertures edged with moulded foliage to the shoulder and cover, painted with two lobed cartouches, probably by Vielliard, one depicting a group of figures around a table possibly on rent day, a playful spaniel and cat below, the latter hiding under a stool, the reverse with a figure outside a thatched building within an extensive landscape, reserved on a foliate gilded pale turquoise ground, the shoulder with floral festoons, on stepped circular base, unmarked, circa 1760, 24 cm high [cover damaged and re-stuck, replacement wood finial, tiny chip to rim, minor chips to base and wear to gilding] and black marble stand. *Notes. The vase 'pot pourri Pompadour' was made at Sèvres in four sizes, of which this example is of the third size. Ref: Svend Eriksen & Geoffrey De Bellaigue 'Serves Porcelain', page 286.
