Lot 704

A set of six 19th century mahogany dining chairs in the Chinese Chippendale manner. With pierced vase splat back and blind fretwork on square inner chamfered supports and drop in tooled leather seats, together with a hand written note of provenance. These chairs are generally sound, sturdy, and useable. The seats are reassuringly worn, with two having a few holes visible. There is a small loss at the top of one of the front legs, otherwise just general marks and wear.
