Condition Report: Vase good condition. Dish with hairline crack and much wear to the enamel.
A late 19th century Chinese famille rose green ground bottle vase, the neck applied a coiling serpent, overall decorated with lotus flowers issuing tendrils and various motifs symbolising longevity, within lappet and ruyi head borders, the whole on a carved hardwood stand, height of vase 42cm. (See illustration) Condition Report: Star hairline crack to the base. Some flaking to the enamel but nothing too serious. Wear to the gilding on the rim. The interior with pitted marks.
Two shallow dessert dishes by Davenport, c1820, in “Vase on a wall” pattern, with different variants of the still life design within a border of fruit and floral scrolls, one of lobed rectangular shape, 26.5cm, the other of oval shape with blue moulded handles, 27.5cm, each bearing impressed marks, together with a shaped dish in “Coral Border” pattern, c1840, by Pountney & Goldney with printed mark.
