She specialised in stylised floral designs. Large section to cover rim missing. Cracks and voids visible throughout. Pitting and surface wear apparent. Dog of Fo mount historically reattached. Required professional restoration.

A large Mason's Patent Ironstone China vase and cover circa 1813-1820, of high shouldered tapering, hexagonal form, decorated throughout in the imari palette depicting flowering peonies and chrysanthemums within a fence and bridge pattern, the pagoda shaped cover surmounted by three scaly mythical beasts, inside cover rim impressed twice 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China' in one line, and two old collection labels (at fault) 82cm high Condition report: The piece shows minor losses to the enamel, small frits and pits throughout, and a hairline crack to the lid of the vase. No other signs of obvious damage and restoration.

Lot 375

A Parian ware 'Well Spring Vase' designed by Richard Redgrave (1804-1888), of ovoid form with foliate handles, the body relief moulded with bladed foliage, 22cm high NOTE: Redgrave's vase was created for Henry Cole's Summerly's Art Manufactures, which aimed to encourage artists to design functional objects. The design was handed over in 1847 and manufactured in porcelain and Parian versions by Minton. This lot is unmarked, but believed to be a mid 19th century example by Minton. Condition report: The vase shows minor firing cracks to both lower handle terminals.  Areas of the interior of the vase are somewhat translucent when held up to light.  The piece shows ingrained dirt across the surface, and small nibbles to the tips of the handles, but no obvious damage or signs of restoration.

A George III Perrin Geddes & Co table vase, early 19th century, of cylindrical form with Monteith cut rim above a diamond cut body, on nonagonal stem with stepped foot, 16cm high, with a cylindrical table vase with folded diamond cut rim and scalloped foot, 13.5cm high, a footed bowl of small proportions with folded rim, 8.5cm high, and a further later table vase with Monteith cut rim, 8cm high (4) (at fault) PROVENANCE: Peter Vawdrey (1780-1831) was employed at Perrin Geddes & Co from 1802 until 1811 and brought together the Tushingham Hall collection. See Cherry and Richard Gray, 'The Prince's Glasses, Some Warrington Cut Glass 1806-11', Journal of the Glass Association, 2, 1987 CONDITION REPORT:The footed table vase shows a chip to the foot approximately 2cm wide.  The vase with the folded rim shows a chip to the rim approximately 8cm wide.  The small vase with Monteith cut rim shows two chips to the foot.  All pieces show chips and nibbles to high points throughout.

* A set of four George II mahogany dining chairs, each chair with a cupids bow top rail extending to scroll terminals, over the pierced vase shaped splat back and drop-in upholstered seat, with serpentine apron upon cabriole front legs and pad feet, plain back swept rear legs, 96cm H, seat height 44cm (4)Condition report:  All chairs with little or no play in the joints.One chair with replaced front blocks, historic worm in blocks. Second chair with replaced supporting rails, similarly with historic worm. No obvious signs of worm in three of original chair structures.Fourth chair with historic worm to chair feet. Minor splits to rear splats. General dull patina to all chairs. All seat pads possibly later replacements.General minor chips, scuffs, marks and wear, commensurate with age and use.
