Grandfather Frank Miles was a Major in the Royal Army Medical Corp. who was Posted to Hong Kong as Chief Hospital Administrator in 1945. Father was RAF, posted to Singapore in 1959.
Large C18th Chinese celadon baluster vase, flanked by a pair of dragon handles, moulded around the body with two phoenix perched on rocks and amidst peony blossoms, all above a key-fret band, the neck decorated with further peony sprays, 77.2cm high.
