Late 19th/early 20th century Chinese porcelain cylindrical vase, in the Kangxi style with four character mark to base. Height 30 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There are numerous chips and losses to the rim of the base. Discoloration to the rim of the base both through dirt, handling and small holes which have been discoloured with moisture. Numerous small chips to the rim of the top of the vase, some small areas of discolouration in the glaze, no apparent cracks or hairline cracks to effect the structure of the vase.

A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese porcelain club shaped vase, in the Kangxi style with four character mark to base. Height 26 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are no apparent cracks or hairline cracks to this vase. There are chips along the base and there are in many places along the glaze scuff marks and cracks which have been discoloured with moisture, ingrained dirt to the top rim and the rim of the base. Numerous patches of small brown discolouration throughout the glaze.
Ilona Sulikova an Art Pottery ovoid vase, with narrow neck and repeating pattern. Height 23 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The vase when viewed from the base has four significant marks, three of which are discolouration leaving a white indentation, the fourth is a small chip to the side of the vase. When viewed from above there are further very small white losses in places to the vase. There are areas of wear to the sides of the vase through handling. Structurally there are no hairline cracks or cracks to the vase.
A studio pottery vase, with indentation and green glaze, with M within circle monogram to foot. Height 35.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This vase has no visible cracks, hairline cracks or losses. There are a handful of imperfections to the glaze which are visible, the body of the vase is crazed throughout.
William Plumptre (born 1959), a studio pottery vase, with narrow top and shallow neck and ovoid body, with both impressed and script marks and blue and green coloured glaze. Height 39 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This vase has areas of ingrained dirt to its shoulders, the rim and the base. There are one or two areas of wear that are significant to the underside of the base. This vase is structurally sound with no cracks or hairline cracks, there is some light crazing in areas the glaze.
William Plumptre (born 1959), a studio pottery vase, with ribbed body and blue line decoration, initialled to the base WP. Height 22 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This vase is structurally sound with no cracks or hairline cracks to the body of the vase. There are some scuff marks and small areas of wear throughout the glaze inline with use. There are a handful of small surface chips to the glaze which now show white.
A Walter Moorcroft anemone vase, with green script initials and impressed Moorcroft. Height 19 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The vase is in generally good order with no significant issues. There are no chips or hairline cracks. There are no repairs or restoration. A minor criticism is that the foot rim has visible crazing but this is about the extent of any issues.
A pair of 19th century Chinese blue and white hexagonal lidded jars, each decorated with chasing dragons and with four character mark to underside. Height 27.5 cm, width 16 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: One lid has had a full width break and has been glued together. There is a chip and a loss to the underside edge and two other small chips to the same lid. There are also several firing marks. The other lid and both vase bases are in good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration.
A pair of Chinese cylindrical vases, decorated with figures and fence with square seal mark to base. Height 28 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both cylindrical vases have some wear to the decoration through use and time. There is one 2-3 mm long chip to the top edge of one vase, there are no other chips evident to either. The other thing to note is spots of discolouration or mould consummate with imperfections in the glaze after firing. There are no cracks or hairline cracks which may affect either vases stability.
A large pair of late 19th/early 20th century Chinese vases, decorated with cranes, other birds and chrysanthemums and with character marks. Height 59 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There is surface wear throughout both vases to the decoration. Occasional small holes and chips to the ceramics surface some of which have moisture discolouration. Neither vase has cracks or hairline cracks which would affect stability.
A Chinese baluster lidded vase, prunus pattern and with concentric ring marks to the base. Height 27.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall condition is good. One or two imperfections with the glaze in places as you would expect. One small scratch to the glaze to the reverse of the jar which has become oxidised and is therefore a little bit brown. This is no more than 2 mm long. Other than this there are no cracks or hairline cracks to this baluster vase. There is some ingrained dirt to the base of the lid and the base of the vase.
A large Chinese blue and white bottle vase, decorated with dragons. Height 61 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This large blue and white bottle vase has no cracks or hairline cracks to its body. Its structure is stable. There is some wear to the base with some small chips to the rim of the base through use. Occasional pinprick and losses to the glaze which have now discoloured in brown, these are in places all over the body of the vase but infrequent and not too visible.
A pair of silver chamber candlesticks, with wooden bases, Birmingham 1907. Height 10.5 cm, together with a weighted single specimen vase. CONDITION REPORT: The candlesticks are in generally good order with no serious condition issues. Both have minor dents to the sconces and around the foot rim but no serious issues. The hallmarks are clear. The accompanying wase is in less good condition. There are more serious dents around the foot rim and stem but there are no losses. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
A pair of late 19th century Satsuma earthenware vases, with handles to the neck and decorated in typical Satsuma colours. Height 24 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Neither vase has signature or impressed mark to base. There are no cracks or hairline cracks to either vase, both have engrained dirt to base and rims, both have crazing to the interior glaze i line with age and design so low level crazing. Wear to decoration of both vases in all areas due to handling over time.
