A Japanese Kutani porcelain baluster vase decorated with birds amongst foliage in reserves on an iron-red & gilt ground, 14¾” high (restored); together with a pair of cloisonné baluster vases of deep blue ground with floral decoration, 14¼” high. (One with restoration to foot).

A Daum Nancy Art Deco cameo glass square vase, decorated with a winter woodland scene at dusk, the base inscribed in black 'Daum Nancy with the Cross of Lorraine' and number 6237, 9.6cm highCONDITION: There is a white water residue around the top rim on the inside but this will remove, minor occasional scuffs to the surface, fine wear to the edge of the base consistent with age and use, otherwise in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks detected.
A pair of Bohemian white and ruby overlaid glass vases, the shaped panel cuts with gilded edges, the white ground with gilt dotted circles, 31cm highCONDITION: Both vases have wear to the gilding all over, one vase has a fracture to the edge of the foot, only visible underneath, otherwise in reasonable condition with no chips detected.
A pair of Chinese powder blue famille verte bottle vases, Kangxi period (1662-1722), each painted to shaped reserves with insects, foliage and rockwork, underglaze blue double circles to the base, 26cm highCONDITION: One vase has a splinter chip to the outside edge of the rim and some hairline cracks which are slightly stained on the interior but more difficult to see on the exterior, both vases with typical minor glaze imperfections and some scratching to the glaze consistent with age.
A large Chinese famille rose turquoise ground baluster vase, first half 19th century, painted with various birds including a phoenix and a peacock amid scrolling foliage and flowers on a turquoise ground, the high shoulder applied with a pair of animal mask ring handles, 61.5cm high, together with a Chinese hongmu stand, total height 99cmCONDITION: The vase has some slight wear to the gilding on the rim and a slight glaze flake on one small area of the rim, typical minor glaze imperfections, two shallow splinter chips to the inside of the foot, possibly made in manufacture otherwise in good condition with no restoration or cracks detected, the wood stand has been adapted and someone has taken another wood stand turned it upside down put it on the other and screwed it into position, some of the joints are a bit loose, have been re-glued and there is a section of the frieze missing on the lower part of the stand.

A pair of large Chinese turquoise ground famille rose moon flasks, Tongzhi seal mark and of the period (1862-74), each painted to circular reserves with dignitaries and attendants hunting a stag in a landscape, the reverse with pheasants and magpies amid peonies, rockwork and magnolia, within lotus flower scrolling leaf and shou motifs to the turquoise ground, chi-dragon gilt handles to the shoulder, 51cm high, Provenance - A. T. Arber-CookeCONDITION: Both with some minor wear to the gilding. One of the moon flasks has been broken at the neck with some now slightly discoloured restoration around the area on the interior and exterior. The yellow discoloured restoration on the interior of the neck is also peeling off in places, the other vase is in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks.Provenance - Alfred Theodore Arber-Cooke (c.1905-1993); thence by family descent. Arber-Cooke was an antiquarian and avid collector of Asian works of art, and antiquities principally collecting from the 1930s to the 1970s. He amassed a good reference library on Chinese & Asian coins and wrote on several occasions (1969-70) to to the academic F.A. Turk regarding the study of coin amulets and other non-currency coinages of China. A number of the Asian numismatic reference books will be offered in our 29th March sale.Arber-Cooke initially lived in Wimbledon, Greater London and was involved with the Surrey Archaeological Society. He wrote the book 'Old Wimbledon', with a foreword the MP Sir Arthur Fell, published in 1927. He later moved to Llandovery in Carmarthenshire, Wales, again involved with local archaeology and wrote the History of Llandovery, published in 1975.

A Wedgwood Fairyland lustre 'Woodland Elves' vase, designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, of ovoid shape 2351, incised shape number, printed marks and inscribed pattern number in red Z5462, 22.5cm highCONDITION: Fine crazing to the glaze all over but the vase still has a good ring to it, there is a 12mm x 8mm splinter chip to the under edge of the rim which has been touched in with gold paint rather messily, doesn't appear to be an associated hairline crack though, otherwise in good condition.

Lalique France No...? 22cm highCONDITION: Provenance - Boxall collection of Lalique glassCondition - PLEASE NOTE THE NECK HAS BEEN REDUCED, Typical small bubbles and mould lines. Occasional minor scratches and wear to the base consistent with age and use. The inner neck has some scuffing and a short surface fracture which does not go through to the exterior, otherwise in good condition.
