A Canadian Silver Vase, by Michael Surman, Salt Spring Island, Circa 1995, the lower body baluster and on short spreading foot, the elongated neck with three strap handles, each with a cabochon stone terminal, the body further applied with cabochon stones above triangular purple stone ornament, 23cm high, gross weight 11oz 7dwt Provenance: Sotheby's, Toronto, 1 June 1999, lot 72 (part). Marked underneath with maker's mark 'MAS', maple leaf mark and stamped 'Sterling' . There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some minor bruises on the lower body. The piece rocks slightly when placed on a flat surface and would benefit from a proper clean.

A London Decorated Chinese Porcelain Teapot and Matched Cover, 18th century, painted in underglaze blue and coloured enamels with birds amongst foliage, 13cm high; A Chinese Porcelain European Metalware Shaped Milk Jug, 13.5cm high; Three Blue and White Vases; and Two Jars (7). Teapot: Crack running from the right of the handle, round the base and up to the left of the spout where it meets further rim damage with the hole. Crack and loss to the tip of the spout and damage to interior. Firing crack to the handle, the cover with loss to floral finial, loss to interior rim and extensive firing imperfections internally. All over general wear. 'Metal' Jug: Small chip to the rim of spout, firing crack to body at side of spout. All over minor pitting and firing imperfection to body. Various surface loss and pitting to handle in numerous places. All over general wear. Smaller vase: General wear. Pair of Vases: Both vases are crazed, one with major crack to rim and neck. Ginger Jar: General wear and pitting. Cylindrical pot: General wear and pitting.
