A Royal Doulton gourd shaped vase with floral decoration, bearing "ES" monogram for Eliza Simmance and No'd "227" to base, 24 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The neck is showing up strangely under UV almost neon like - see images. Unsure is this is a repair but doesn't look like it is. Otherwise in need of a good clean, general wear and tear to include some light surface scratches etc - see images for more details
Two boxes of assorted china and glass to include a Satsuma censer and cloisonne three piece set comprising tray and two pots, a Geisha jardinier and stand, modern cauldron, etc CONDITION REPORTS Censer, cloisonne set and ginger jar only.Satsuma vase - very damaged and crudely repaired throughout. Cloisonne three-piece set - significant damage to both pots. Tray - has some cracking to the enamel throughout, especially noticeable on the back. Ginger jar - lid has been broken and badly repaired. Cork stopper is missing chunks throughout. Ginger jar itself has firing faults, surface scratches, etc.All three items with general wear and tear conducive with age and use. A William Ault Pottery ewer designed by Christopher Dresser with butterfly and foliate decoration probably painted by Clarissa Ault and No'd 177 to base 18.5 cm high together with a Lauder Barum relief decorated vase with birds amongst foliage 21 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Overall good condition. Spout has light surface scratch. Under UV there is no sign of restoration. See images for further detail.
An Alfred Powell for Wedgwood blue and white waisted vase, bearing monogram and No'd. “2416” to base 17.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has had some restoration to the base. Appears to have been a chip or damage in one area and has had some repainting - visible both to the naked eye and under UV - see images. The rest of the vase has some surface scratching.
