CONDITION REPORT: Pair of vases:Vase 1 - scrapes and pitting to surface. Foot enamel is very poorly done - with many gaps. Two or three larger scrapes/pitting around 3mm x 1mm, a few bubbles and pinhole losses.Vase 2 - similar condition to vase 1. One larger pinhole around 2mm x 2mm.Tall vase - small loss at top rim. Residue of shellac filler there. Some small losses to body. Small surface chip on side, around 5mm x 5mm.
Five pieces of 19th century Chinese Canton famille rose ware, two teapots, a dish, vase and barrel box and cover (5) CONDITION REPORT: Small vase - two chips at foot rim otherwise appears good.Small teapot - lid gilding worn, small chips to spout, gilding rubbed, otherwise appears good.Barrel box - small star crack to base. Lid has been in half, chip to rim and tiny flat chip to top front of cover (rim).Large teapot - lid appears ok, gilding rubbed knock to glaze at shoulder around 1mm x 8mm.Plate - repaired chip at rim, piece is loose. Plate hanger to plate. Some rubbing to gilding, scrapes at rim.

19th century Fahua vase, the green glazed body slip decorated with phoenix birds in aubergine, yellow and blue glazes, 24cm and another double gourd vase yellow glazed with encircling dragon, 24cm (2) CONDITION REPORT: Fahua - l-shaped crack from neck 3cm in total. Chip at rim around 8mm x 3mm. Extra piece of ceramic at foot (glazed in).Japanese yellow glazed bottle vase - small chips to rim around 4mm x 8mm. Quite flat chip, small brown glaze flaw to side of bulbous neck. Firing crack at right hand front leg of dragon (glazed). Kiln residue at base and five small chips on footrim.
Kozan pair of Satsuma bottle vases finely decorated with panels of figures and flowers on a crane and cloud ground, multiple diaper bands and key fret to the rim, signed, 15.5cm, Meiji CONDITION REPORT: Vase 1 - good original condition commensurate with age. Rubbing to gilt at rim, very slight rubbing elsewhere.Vase 2 - good original condition commensurate with age. Gilt rubbed as vase 1. Loss to gilding at one downward stripe at foot, similar area of black glaze missing at bottom of stripe framing one of large scenes.
Pair of Chinese champleve enamelled high-shouldered vases with all-over decoration of flowerheads, inset seal mark to the base, 30cm. CONDITION REPORT: Vase1 - surface rather pitted, rough footrim, uneven rough pitted edge to outside of top rim, base slightly loose, light visible through small gaps.Vase 2 - similar condition to vase 1 but footrim much more even, glaze losses at shoulder rim with a hole at one point where shoulder has slightly opened up from the body. This area of glaze is quite damaged and vase has been reinforced inside. Pitting to exterior. Some larger rough areas, with reinforcing inside.
19th century Chinese blue and white square sectioned vase of tapering form, the four panels decorated with warriors on horseback and figures in a garden setting, 53cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condition. Square edges have small nicks and discolouration. Three/four slightly larger chips to edge rims, around 3/4 mm. Some kiln spotting, particularly on the top edge. Some roughness to the bottom part of the sides (last 1cm) slightly scraped.

Bowl - star crack to base. gilding very worn at rim, very slight wear to black glaze at rim and ruby to iron red part particularly on butterflies.

No obvious chips, cracks or restoration. Lid appears ok.Column vase - appears good.
Chinese late 18th century square section vase of flaring form with faux handles on plinth base, with a deep blue glaze, 38cm CONDITION REPORT: Both handles have top loops missing. Large crack top to bottom on corner. Large chip to bottom ridge corner. One side has long fine scratch to surface. Top corner large chip to one corner and small chip to rib edge half way down rib corner.
Pair of late 19th century Chinese famille verte crackle glazed baluster vases with "precious things" decoration between textured brown glazed bands, chi lung to the neck and shi shi dog handles, 25cm, mark to base CONDITION REPORT: Vase 1 - tail of one chi lung at neck missing. Small chips top of dragons head (on neck). Small chip (flat) to underside of rim (1cm x 5mm max)Vase 2 - chip underside of rim around 14mm x 8mm (max). Front leg has piece missing on the dragon and tiny chip on shoulder at shoulder rim.
Chinese Chizan stoneware high shouldered vase, the cream glazed ground decorated in black with cranes and geometric designs, label to base, 27cm. CONDITION REPORT: Large top to bottom firing crack which goes half way into foot. Surface nicks particularly to widest part of shoulder. Surface glaze and penwork rubbed in area to shoulder around 4cm x 3cm. Various original glazing faults.
