A post-war Czechoslovakian glass vase designed by Frantisek Visner for Skrdlovice Glassworks of cylindrical form with internal fine white air bubble mesh set within a green basal collar with vertical moulded decoration, height 21cm, together with a similar period Andromeda bowl of oval wrythen spiral form designed by Jaroslav Beranek for Skrdlovice. (2)
A large 1930s Thomas Webb & Sons Cameo Fleur vase, the wide circular foot rising to a knopped stem with brass collar below a shouldered over body, cased in deep amethyst over clear and acid cut with a repeat stylised lily pattern, cameo signature to the lower body, height 36 cm. N.B - Having seen this piece Mr Stan Eveson, former employee of Thomas Webb & Sons, believed this piece to be an early prototype of the range. Noting the brass collar he commented that this was not a standard shape but possibly a special commission or trial piece.
