A set of six George I style walnut dining chairs including two armchairs, each with shell carved vase shaped splat and cane panels to the back, the drop-in seat on shell carved cabriole legs with claw and ball feet joined by shaped stretchers, labelled Tozer, Brook Street, London/see illustration Condition Report: Both armchairs and two single chairs re-caned. Both other single chairs with slight damage to original cane work. Frames rubbed particularly at crusting scrolls and arms faded. All upholstery in acceptable condition.
