An early 19th Century KPM pot pourri vase and cover, twin-handled ovoid body, floral encrusted cover, raised on cabriole legs united by quadraform under tier with floral encrusted cover (af), body decorated with cartouche of Bacchus in profile on a gilt-highlighted ivory ground, marked to base, 18 cm highLid is very dusty and has large chips and breakage. Poor attempt at restoration and residue present. Body overall in good condition. Slight crack to the base and spots of rubbing to the gilt. Light scuffs and scratches consistent with age and general usage. Some very small chips and rubbing to the base and rim.
